Roger is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of Bupa Asia Pacific’s sustainability, communications and stakeholder engagement strategies. He is a strong believer in driving progressive change for people, planet and communities.

He is in his second period at Bupa, having previously held the position of General Manager, Corporate Affairs, where he was instrumental in the launch of the Bupa brand in Australia and New Zealand. He has also held senior leadership roles with the Victorian Government's Department of Health and Human Services, and executive positions at Treasury Wine Estates and Cadbury. Roger’s considerable international experience includes roles for Telefonica Europe and for the British Government as Special Adviser to both the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry and the Secretary of State of Culture, Media & Sport.

Roger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Studies and a Master of Political Studies (Hons.) from the University of Auckland. In 2022, Sustainability Magazine named him one of the world’s Top 100 Sustainability Leaders.

Roger is the proud father of two children, and a passionate supporter of both Manchester City FC and the New Zealand All Blacks. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, watching film and listening to music – and a glass of wine!

Mat has lead organisations through periods of crisis and significant change, where he has developed and strengthened the reputation of some of New Zealand's best-known organisations.

She also serves as a Trustee on the Spark Foundation Board. Leela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Technology Sydney.

Nirupa joined SkyCity as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer in June 2021 and is responsible for leading SkyCity’s corporate affairs activities, including government, community and industry stakeholder relations and SkyCity’s public policy and advocacy.

Before joining SkyCity, Nirupa was Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Auckland (Phil Goff) and was responsible for running the Mayor’s office and executing his political priorities. Prior to this, she ran Mayor Goff’s successful mayoral campaign in 2016 and worked in Parliament as a Political and Media Advisor. Early in her career, Nirupa was a Senior Solicitor specialising in refugee and humanitarian law.

Nirupa is currently the vice-Chair of Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand and Chair of its Membership and Stakeholders Committee, and a member of the Heart of the City Auckland’s Executive Committee (representing SkyCity). She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Auckland.

He is currently a board member of the Wellington Phoenix Football Club and also previously served as a member of the New Zealand Football Board working on the successful bid for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

As Tower’s Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Emily is responsible for leading the insurer’s sustainability strategy, championing sustainability issues within the business and delivering on its ESG and climate change reporting requirements.

Emily was recently part of a world leading collaboration to develop a common set of climate change scenarios for the New Zealand insurance industry which will ultimately give stakeholders consistent scenarios to assess and compare insurers’ climate change performance. After developing Tower’s first sustainability strategy in 2021 she delivered its first sustainability report in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative 2021 standard.

Emily also leads all aspects of Tower’s corporate affairs function including media and government relations, internal communications and culture, and investor relations.

Prior to Tower Emily was Head of Corporate Affairs at Airways New Zealand where she led the air traffic control organisation’s sustainability initiatives. Before this she was External Relations Manager at Bank of New Zealand. Emily has more than 20 years experience in a range of industries including financial services, aviation and FMCG.

Since beginning her career in 1999, Pamela has distinguished herself in senior roles at Hewlett Packard across New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the US, and at leading organisations such as Hill in Knowlton in London, Baldwin Boyle Group, Fonterra, and Suncorp in New Zealand. Her strategic leadership in Corporate Affairs, Marketing, and Brand has driven significant achievements in these roles.

In 2018, Pamela embarked on a new chapter, the running of L.W. Bonney & Sons Ltd, her family’s specialised transport business. Here, she is continuing to enhance the business to meet the evolving needs of supply-chain customers, taking advantage of technology and process developments in Customer Experience, Operations, People, and Health & Safety.

A proactive Board member of the National Road Carriers (NRC) and member of their Transport and Logistics Advisory Group, Pamela has played a key role in the organisational transformation, strategic development and advocacy of NRC. She is passionate about the importance of the long-term planning of strategic investment in infrastructure for NZ Inc. Pamela is also a trustee for the Motu Foundation and a member of the Arc Angels Advisory Board.
